Send Chasity to Camp

story

You can send Chasity to camp this summer. Chasity has been a regular at Campus Life this year. She attends the morning club activities at her school and is a consistent participant in our middle school afternoon Hang-Out times.

She is always eager to engage with our leaders in conversation. Those interactions seem to mean a lot to her. She lights up when certain leaders enter the room. One in particular is the Campus Life director at her school, Kennedy. Kennedy and Chasity have not known each other very long. But in that short time, they have shared a lot. Kennedy learned that Chasity’s mom is sick, so she lives with her grandparents. And finances are tight.

Chasity’s family has never been consistent in church, as long as Chasity can remember. The Campus Life discussions about life and Jesus have led to a lot of questions from her. This is “all really new to me.” So, Chasity asked if she could go to church. Kennedy eagerly said “Yes”. And just a few weeks ago they went to church together the first of several times.

Kennedy says Chasity is “still very confused about God. She has lots of questions about faith but seems to try to interweave them with other non-Christian ideas about life.” “I need much more time with her. She needs to go to camp.”

That’s where you and I come in. You can send Chasity to camp where leaders can spend dozens of hours in conversations. She will experience amazing programs where the truth of God’s Gospel will be shared, and other Christian students and leaders will demonstrate what following Jesus is all about. Would you give a camp scholarship gift to help Chasity and her friends attend camp? We need at least $190 for her and another $190 for each of the
other students that we hope will attend.

You can give at this link. Then choose “camp scholarship.”

Every dollar will help another student take part in ministry that can have eternal
rewards.
